WHAT CAN I DO AFTER A CONVICTION?
Most misdemeanor convictions can be dismissed completely once you're off court supervision (probation) and have complied with the terms of your probation.
Several felony convictions are capable of reduction to a misdemeanor, or dismissed entirely.
If you were convicted as a juvenile, or wrongfully convicted, you may be eligible to have your record sealed. This is the greatest level of criminal conviction privacy that one can get in California.
termination of probation:
If you've complied with all the terms of your probation, you may be eligible to end your probation early. This requires a noticed motion and a court appearance.
